Soybean Rust Status Through June, 2008
Sentinel
plot surveys are underway in the region. As expected, things are
quiet within the region with regards to disease infections in
soybean.
To the south in areas where Soybean Rust has overwintered on
kudzu, the current sentinel plot and survey reports have not changed
dramatically from the mid-May reports. Some of the earlier
detections in Texas and Mexico are reported to no longer be found.
As always, if you are interested in checking the status of
soybean rust for the current growing season, you can do so by
visiting the web site for the USDA Soybean Rust Public Information .
