Small Grain Disease Update
Several small grain diseases are being detected in
Minnesota and North Dakota by their respective crop
surveys. The maps are composite images made from the
survey results and should provide a general view of where
problems were observed. With little improvement in the
weather, conditions continue to be favorable for further
infection. Conditions are also making field surveys
difficult.

The North Dakota Ag Weather Network has the Small Grain
Disease Forecasting Model up and running. Minnesota
growers can access weather information and disease
forecast conditions for these in-state locations: Eldred,
Greenbush, Humboldt, Mavie, Perley, Roseau, Sabin,
Stephen, and Warren. Access the model at:
