Foliar-Applied Fungicides for Application on Small Grain Crops in Minnesota -- Current as of May 2005

Update 05-23-05: A Section 18 application allowing Minnesota wheat and barley producers to apply Folicur for Fusarium head blight control was submitted to the EPA earlier this year. Earlier this year, the EPA granted a Section 18 for Folicur application in Kentucky after that state declared a crisis exemption allowing use of the product for 15 days. The agency recently approved Section 18 applications for Montana and South Dakota, but has requested additional information from extension plant pathologists in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Michigan.
